Rameses Balloon
The idea for this illustration started when my supervisor and I were joking about a Rameses balloon in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
Ideation
Since we were having a photoshoot with Rameses that day, I was able to get the perfect reference image. I asked Rameses to lean on a stool in order for me to get the best view. This is the picture of me getting the reference.
Final Results
This took me about two days to complete. I used my own references and parade route photos to get a cohesive look. This illustration ended up being the content with the highest interaction that month.
